What Does £250,000 Buy You These Days?

A row of detached homes some with cars on the drives

Property in Liverpool, Cheshire and Merseyside can be as diverse as the areas themselves and, of course, that is often reflected in the price.

If you want to live in the city centre you’ll have to pay a premium while move out into the country and you’re likely to get a little bit more for your money.

It’s also worth remembering that prices are affected by factors such as transport links, how close a property is to good schools, whether it’s in a conservation area or is close to parkland or other attractions – take a look at our Viewing Checklist when it comes to what we recomend you look out for when buying a home.

So we’ve visited Rightmove.co.uk, just one of many online property sites available, to see just what you can get for £250,000* and you might just be surprised by what we found. *Prices as of July 2018
